Another of my early 1/72nd
scale efforts. This came with Hasegawa's original Betty
bomber kit which is rather an expensive way to acquire
a model of this tiny rocket powered plane. I did manage
to sell the Betty sans Ohka later so it wasn't a complete
loss.
I built this soon after
joining IPMS Vancouver so I incorporated some newly discovered
techniques such as sanding & polishing canopies and
replacing pitot tubes with fine stainless tubing - the
nurse I was dating at the time kept me supplied with the
latter which was an added bonus.
