This is what happens when
you're bored and you have Photoshop and an Enterprise
model.
I think it took me about three or four evenings to build
this AMT kit and about three or four months to finish
painting it. All the myriad panels were hand painted in
a slightly darker shade of gray which doesn't show up
in these pics for some reason, and the 'lifeboats' in
an even darker shade. Some of the windows were done in
glow in the dark paint and the engines, blue stripe around
the saucer section and sensor array are fluorescent paints,
which looks rather spiffy under a black light. But then,
doesn't everything?
